About... As a Set Medic, I have provided standby medical services for a number of production companies on location and on set. I have worked with stunt crews and underwater productions as a safety diver. By being on set I am able to start immediate emergency care for production crews from illness to major injury. This is especially important in remote location areas. My job as a Set Medic is to prevent injuries from happening, surveying the area, and also to make sure medical services are available in the area. By making sure a contact list is available to all members this cuts down on time for medical services. I have also worked as a SCUBA Instructor for the last five years. I have been responsible for groups as small as two to large groups of twelve underwater. As an Instructor, I have continued my education by working at the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. I spent over three years working in the field working with studies on sharks along the Pacific coast. I currently have over 450 out-of-cage dives with sharks in the local area. I have run all safety for crews going under with the sharks and have been there to back them up. I thank you for any consideration of a job as either a Set Medic or Safety Diver.
